Rona Borre Has An Interesting Story About Her Company

Rona Borre is the founder and CEO of Instant Alliance, a leading Chicago staffing and recruiting agency. She attended college at the University of Arizona and upon graduation became a leading account executive at a large recruiting and staffing company. However, the company was absorbed in a merger, and the industry went upside down giving Borre the opportunity to start her staffing company, which she did in 2001. Rona began her company in the spare bedroom of her Chicago condo with just her and her bulldog Henry, but in six months she had 50 employees, and they were doing well.  For a related article, check instantalliance.com

One thing she learned early, however, was that the account executives that she originally hired were from larger staffing firms and they were used to lots of support but did poorly in a startup environment because they weren’t independent enough. That lesson cost Borre quite a bit of money and lost some clients, so she deduced that hiring her talent and training them herself was the way to go.

When asked what her average day was like, Rona responded that no day is ever the same. Her passion is to be out with the clients and developing relationships to that her firm can be an effective recruiting partner. That relationship bond is the secret sauce to Borre’s success and ultimately the success of her firm.

One of the niche areas that Borre started working on early was the specialty areas of hiring technology and financial professionals for their client companies. These are the individuals that companies need when they are in a growth mode. Financial to get the money and technology to make it all work.

When Borre establishes the right relationships, she knows exactly what kind of people will fit into the culture of the company she is hiring for, and the formula works. She doesn’t waste any time sifting through hundreds of resumes because she knows who to look for specifically and who will fit the job exactly. This saves huge amounts of time and money in the process. Read more about her,  follow Borre here.

Makeup Idol and Entrepreneur Doe Deere Speaks to the Press about her Brand

Doe Deere is a fashion idol and proprietor of the Lime Crime brand. She is very popular in social media circles, thanks to her Instagram posts and luminous painted face. According to a feature published in Galore Magazine in 2015, she was named by Self Magazine, one of the Top inspiring female entrepreneurs. In an interview held in August 2015 with Galore Magazine’s Stephanie Janetos, Doe Deere spoke about issues revolving around her life and the Lime Crime brand. When asked about her inspiration to create a cosmetic line, Doe told Stephanie that the idea was driven by her long held artistic and imaginative point of view.

Deere told the magazine that her first experience with make-ups was at a slumber party she had attended with two of her best friends when she was 9 years old. The trendy makeup’s at the time included brown lip gloss, dark pink eye shadow and crooked winged liner; her wardrobe, on the other hand, included ragged tops and long, witchy skirts. Regarding her best and worst makeup experience, Doe fondly remembers the experiences she had with makeup brands like Ben Nye and Kryolan. She conjures that she was not so much obsessed with looking good because her motivation was to experiment and have fun.

Asked why she named her brand, Lime Crime, Doe quipped that she arrived at the name in 2004 when she was pondering about the name to call her new eBay store. She adds that the craze at that time was to use silly handles. Doe is convinced that Lime Crime was cool because it rhymed with her favorite bright green color, something that is more fun and revolutionary by any fashion standards. The uniqueness of the name also make it an instant hit with Google searches. On internet, Doe agrees that there are many challenges, but the greatest incentive is the internet’s ability to provide instant feedback. When it comes to internet hate, Doe believes the best strategy is to ignore the haters.

Doe Deere is the founder of popular makeup brand Lime Crime. According to an excerpt published in Limecrime.com, the Russian born makeup icon established the company in 2008 and went on to launch her popular Limecrime lipstick brand the following year. Limecrime lipstick brand was the first entity in the market to introduce clear-cut and radical lip colors. The selection includes Velvetines and the liquid to matte lipstick. All products manufactured by Limecrime are cruelty free and meet Vegan standards.

Doe has confessed that she is on a mission to extol the benefits of cosmetics, because she believes they do much more than conceal individual imperfections. Because of his successes over the years, Doe has become one of the most influential figures in the makeup world. According to thestoryexchange.com, her greatest role model is fashion icon Kimberly Gordon, the brain behind the highly successful Wildfox brand. Kimberly and Doe are both passionate about comfortable clothing with vintage twist and all things whimsical.

Breaking the Rules with Doe Deere

Doe Deere, the creator of Lime Crime, always make choices that reflect her personality and the things that she likes. She does not want people to dress in the way that fashion tells them to if it doesn’t feel right and she always makes sure that her outfits make her feel as confident as possible. The makeup line that she has created is dedicated to helping people feel better about themselves and about their fashion choices. She has always made sure that people are comfortable with the makeup she offers.

One of the things that Doe Deere thinks is completely ridiculous? Fashion rules. She wants people to know that fashion rules don’t always have to be followed and that they should choose options that feel right to them instead of options that look like they fit into a conformed idea of what someone should wear. Doe Deere has some favorite fashion rules to break.

What are you supposed to wear with high heels? Pantyhose or nothing, right? not according to Doe Deere. She thinks that anyone can wear anything with their high heels and often wears socks with her high heels. She doesn’t care how they look, even though they often look great because she is comfortable and warm with these socks. She thinks that socks are always a good idea because they will help you walk better in your heels and will add a surprising touch of fun to any outfit that you have on and any type of heels that you are wearing.

Unnaturally colored hair is a fun choice and one that Doe Deere takes advantage of on a regular basis. It is always a good idea to wear what you like without worrying about your hair color and Doe Deere knows that. While fashion tells her that she can only wear black or other neutral colors with her unnatural hair, she doesn’t care. She likes to wear fun colors and she does so no matter what color her hair is. The only rule that she follows when it comes to colors that she wears? She must absolutely love the color and the way that it makes her feel.

The same goes for patterns. While it has been a rule for many years, Doe Deere is working to nix this rule. She thinks that you should mix as many patterns as you want and wear any colors that you like with the patterns. This means that she can often be found wearing a cherub print skirt with a zebra shirt and heart socks. It’s easy for Doe Deere to feel comfortable in these outfits because she is confident in the clothing choices that she wants to wear.
